 Our philosophy is that every now and again, we need to indulge ourselves. We need to treat ourselves, because we deserve it. And what better way to do that then with a delicious cupcake with your choice of frosting and topping!
Having an extensive background in food services, we take pride in providing excellent service to our customers. But we don't take ourselves too seriously. Buying a cupcake shouldn't be a hassle. We understand the value of fun! And that attitude shows in our presentation. With an eclectic/funky/Victorian theme for the business, attractive uniforms, and exquisite cupcakes, we're here to help you enjoy yourself.

CB'S CUPCAKES... How the Company Got Started
 The question which got us started... "Why Not?" Why not offer cupcakes and let the customer choose their favorite frosting and topping? Why not hand frost every cupcake to order? Why not offer the delicious indulgence of cupcakes at malls, fairs, and other places where people are looking to have a good time? Why not offer delicious southern style sweet tea as well? Why not indeed!
At the San Diego Fair in 2007, CB's Cupcakes founder, Connie Barham considered several food service ideas, one of them being cupcakes. When she floated the idea to other food vendors, the cupcake got shot down.
By the time the Los Angeles County Fair came in September, the idea was back on the table thanks to employees named Sara and Bridget. Within two months, a trailer was being redesigned and CB's Cupcakes was booked into the WFA Convention, which happened to be in San Diego that year. Within weeks of the convention, another trailer and three carts were being built due to the booking needs.
CB's Cupcakes still needed some sort of an attraction to be competitive. Frosting to order and choosing a topping seemed a natural. Why not get the freshest cupcake taste by frosting each cupcake on the spot, and decorating it your way?!
Our signature drink is a southern favorite... Sweet Tea. And, our motto, "Let Us Sweeten Your Day" fits right in.
Expanding CB's Cupcakes to shopping malls wasn't orginally considered, says Connie... until the company started receiving letters of interest from a number of southern California malls requesting us for carts.
Today, CB's Cupcakes has two San Diego North County locations... Carlsbad and San Marcos. And, we're always open to considering other great locations.
